Thriving Beyond the Label is dedicated to empowering and supporting parents, carers, and families raising children with additional needs, including neurodivergence. The community seeks to create a supportive environment for parents and carers to learn from and support one another.
Our Mission
Our Mission is to promote an inclusive society that provides education, emotional support, and practical resources to help families navigate the challenges and joys of raising neurodivergent children.
Workshops & Training
We partner with local communities and experts in the healthcare, social work, and education sectors to promote dialogue between them and parents/carers on neurodivergence awareness and special education. This will ensure that families have access to the resources available to support them.
Empowerment
Parents, caregivers, educators, and community members involved in supporting children with additional needs are empowered. Equipping their caregivers with essential knowledge and resources indirectly enhances the well-being and development of neurodivergent children.
Advocacy
We aim to bridge the gap between families and professional support systems by fostering awareness and collaboration. Our initiatives will promote inclusion, reduce stigma, and improve the quality of life for families who are parenting children with additional needs, especially neurodivergence.
Community Events
We organise periodic panel discussions with educators, healthcare professionals, social workers and other professionals to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure parents/carers are empowered to support their children.
Supporting Neurodivergent Learners
Thoughtfully designed digital packs, affirmation decks, and activity books to support neurodivergent children. These will help them build confidence, curiosity, and self-belief by discovering their interests and embracing their strengths.
