Helping Neurodivergent Children Thrive Beyond the Label
A Neuro-Affirming Community Supporting Children, Families and Communities
Our Story
Founded Through Lived Experience and a Passion for Inclusion
A label may describe a need or difference, but it does not define a child’s abilities, personality, interests, creativity or future potential. Our work focuses on recognising and celebrating the strengths of neurodivergent children while providing families with practical support, knowledge and connections to help them thrive.
Based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, and supporting families across the East of England, Thriving Beyond the Label provides strengths-based autism support, SEND support, parent support and inclusive opportunities for families raising neurodivergent children.
Through our programmes, resources and partnerships, we create spaces where children and families feel understood, valued and empowered.
Our Founder’s Story
Eniola Oyegunle – Founder of Thriving Beyond the Label
Thriving Beyond the Label was created from personal experience, compassion and a commitment to improving the support available to families raising neurodivergent children.
Our founder, Eniola Oyegunle, experienced first-hand the challenges, questions and emotions that can come with navigating an autism diagnosis and finding the right support for a child.
As a mother of two neurodivergent sons, Eniola understands that every family’s journey is unique. Her experiences shaped a strong belief that children should be recognised for their strengths, interests and individuality rather than being defined by a diagnosis.
This lived experience became the foundation for Thriving Beyond the Label — a community created to help families access practical guidance, emotional support, inclusive activities and meaningful connections.
